Masters of Commerce (M. Com.) is a postgraduate level course ideal for candidates who wish to make a career in Education, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance as well as Accounting and Commerce Sectors. The 2-year course delves deeper into the functioning of the Economy, Capital, Revenue, Trade, Taxes, etc. taught in Under Graduate Level.
Since, M. Com. is a specialized area in itself, only those candidates who have pursued B. Com. / B. B. A. can go for it. M.Com. is most popular among aspiring teachers/lecturers and researchers.
UGC-NET/JRF and Ph. D. are among popular options for M. Com. degree holders.
After years of efforts, finally our college has been able to commence M. Com. Programme from Academic Year 2019-20 affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. It is a Choice Based Credit System and Semester pattern having Four Semesters i.e. Two Semesters in each year of M.Com. Each Semester has Six Subjects. The entire curriculum is conducted in lines with the M.Com Programme run by the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat.
