These activities upgrade their talent and provide complementary learning in art form. VVWCC believes in providing lots of interesting and important experiences outside the traditional classroom. In order to recognize and nurture the hidden affinity of the students in the field of music, dance, art & fine arts different activities were organized throughout the year. Organization of Intra-Collegiate Competitions: The College organized various innovative Intra-Collegiate competitions like Mehandi Competition, Rakhi Making, Thali Decoration Competition, Patriotic Dance Competition, Miss Chef Competition, Best out of Waste, Cake Decoration, Navratri Celebration cum Garba Competition, Chocolate Bouquet Making, Face painting, Nail Art, On the Spot Poster Making Competition & Make-up & Hair Style. Celebration of Various Days: The college organized a ‘Freshers’ Party’ along with Talent Hunt Competition to extend a cordial welcome to the newcomers in the college family and mark the beginning of the cultural events. Progressing with a mood of euphoria and excitement various days imbibing social cause and messages were celebrated in the college round the year like Guru Purnima Day, Rainy Day, Back-to-School Day, Teacher’s Day, Janmashtmi Celebration and Raas Garba, Independence Day, Group Day with Social Message, Denim Day with Goggles and Cap, Navratri Celebration, Entrepreneur Day Twin day, Suit and Saree Day, Dabba Party Day etc. were celebrated by the students with enormous zeal. Annual Function: 22nd Annual Function cum Fashion Show was celebrated on 7th February 2020. Approximately, 142 students participated vigorously in 13 events which were interwoven with the theme – “नया भारत – नई सोच”- “New Vision New India”. Further adding grace to this occasion around 39 students participated in fashion show with three rounds of Bridal, Gown and khadi. The highlight of the event of fashion show in which our students did ramp walk with physically challenged kids Their zeal was encouraged by standing ovation by the audience. Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony: It was organized on 13th March, 2020. Padma Shri, Yazdi Karanjia, Veteran Theatre Artist graced the occasion as its Chief Guest and Smt. Sonal Biyani, leading Investment Banker as the Guest of Honour respectively. A substantial amount of 1,79,500/- was awarded as Scholarship to the meritorious students of our college and Cash prize of worth 96,000/-to the achievers in co-curricular activities along with Trophies, Certificates and Medals by Vanita Vishram Management. Farewell Function: First and Second Year B.Com. and BBA students organized a wonderful farewell function on 14th March 2020 for Fianl Year B.Com. and BBA students which was also attended by the members of Alumni Association of the college. Women’s University, organized the Regional Yuva Mahotsav (Gujarat and Mumbai Region) at S.N.D.T. College of Arts, Mumbai from 6 to 7 September 2013. Approximately, 1800 students from 35 affiliated colleges of Mumbai and Gujarat Region had participated. The college students won prizes in Debate Competition (English), Quiz, Elocution (Gujarati), Poster-making and Cartooning. The winning team of Quiz competition then participated in Grand Finale of S.N.D.T. Yuva Mahotsav which was held from 25 to 26 September 2013 and secured First Position. Approximately, 250 students, Principals as well as the Faculty Members of sister-concern insitutions managed by Vanita Vishram enthusiastically participated in the said programme.
